Why this exists

A report can give you precise words without giving you a clear picture. I wanted to see the structures, understand what was known and find the questions that belonged in a clinical conversation. This project puts those pieces together.

I am a patient, not a clinician. My experience helps shape the questions and language. It does not establish which treatment will work for anyone else.

Independence and funding

This site currently takes no money from device companies or clinics. Any change will be disclosed here. It does not sell referrals, provide a provider ranking or accept MRI uploads.

Editorial policy

We distinguish imaging findings, proposed mechanisms, trial outcomes and lived experience. Every treatment number sits beside its source. We show the study population, comparator, outcome scale, follow-up, limitations and funding.

Sham-controlled trials, open-label comparisons and uncontrolled long-term follow-up answer different questions. A trial’s responder rate is not the incremental benefit over its comparator. A manufacturer document is used for device instructions and reported availability, not as independent evidence of effectiveness.

Review status and corrections

Sources have been checked as part of this build. Independent clinician review is pending; no “reviewed by” endorsement is displayed. Country access information is dated and identifies unknowns. If you find an error, use the correction topic on the contact page. Updates should record the correction, source and date.

The anatomy is illustrative

The model is a derivative of open anatomy assets. Hand-built marrow, nerves and procedure instruments are simplified. It is not a reconstruction of my spine or yours. Read the asset credits and download the model.
